Fees and Mixed Billing
Effective from 16th January 2023, we will be transitioning to mixed billing. We will continue to bulk bill standard & long consultations (face to face and telehealth) for the following patients and appointments:
If you have registered your account details with Medicare, we are able to send your claims directly to Medicare for immediate credit to your account. Our Hi Caps system allows us to charge your account and for Medicare to rebate you as soon as possible. For all telehealth consultations you will need to claim the rebate yourself. Please ask our friendly staff for more details.
We request payment at the time of consultation for all our private patients. All Workcover pending claim patients are required to pay for each appointment until the claim is approved and a Workcover claim number is produced to admin/reception staff. We accept cash and Eftpos including credit cards (Visa, MasterCard). If you require more time or have complex medical issues, we recommend arranging a double appointment. All other patients will be required to pay $70.00 for a standard consultation, the Medicare rebate is $41.40, out of pocket cost of $28.60.
All new patients that do not fall under the above list will be required to book a long consultation ($125.00), the Medicare rebate is $80.10 (out of pocket cost of $44.90). If you have not been to our clinic for more than 12 months, you will be considered a new patient.

We prefer to see you for face to face appointments as we believe it is far more beneficial for you. Telehealth consult is still available and our staff will advise on the necessity and availability.
If you have respiratory symptoms, please continue to perform a RAT or PCR test prior to your appointment. If you are COVID positive, we can offer telehealth.
