The majority of our patients understand and provide respect to our staff and doctors, however we do have to ensure that all patients are aware of our Zero Tolerance Policy in regards to abusive or aggressive behaviour to staff.
There has been a number of incidents where staff have been spoken to in an aggressive and abusive manner. Please do note that the team at Health and Wellbeing Wulguru try their best to accommodate every patients needs and will always provide mutual respect to our patients.
Please head over to our forms section under documents for further details.
Currently we lose valuable consultation time because of patients failing to attend their appointments or cancelling at short notice. This makes it more difficult for us to accommodate our patients in need of urgent treatment, for existing patients to book appointments and for new patients to register here.
The following process will be introduced for missed appointments;
- First failure to attend / late cancellation you will receive a phone call.
- Second failure to attend / late cancellation you will receive a phone call.
- Third failure to attend / late cancellation there will be a fee, with no rebate and no further appointments will be made until the fee is paid.
This will commence Monday, 4th of January 2021.
For more details please check in the policies section under Documents. If you have any concerns or queries please do not hesitate to contact us.
Health and Well Being Wulguru has trialed mix billing for a period of two months. It has been decided that from Thursday 27/08/2020, we will revert back to Bulk Billing our consultations.
What this means is everyone, including non concession card holders will no longer have an out of pocket expense for a general consultation with our GPs.
Please note that there are still private fees involved with things such as excisions, iron infusion, medical clearance, Dangerous goods and other forms that require a doctor to fill out.
Any outstanding fees charged during the mix billing period will need to be paid.
If you require any clarification or have a question please do not hesitate to call us or message us on Facebook.
