Billing Policy

Fully Bulk-Billed Medical Centre

At Health & Wellbeing Wulguru, we are proud to operate as a fully bulk-billing medical centre, meaning that all consultations and eligible services with a valid Medicare Item number are bulk-billed for patients who present a valid Medicare Card with their name on it.


Our commitment is to make high-quality healthcare accessible to everyone in our community by removing financial barriers to medical care.


Private Billing and Payment Policy

For private patients (those who do not have a medicare card), payment is required at the time of consultation.

💰 Consultation Fees for Private Patients:

  • Standard Consultation: $70.00
  • Long Consultation (New Patients or Extended Appointments): $125.00


🆕 New Patient Policy
If you have not visited our clinic in more than 12 months, you will be considered a new patient and will be required to book a long consultation.


⏳ Extended Appointments
If you have complex medical issues or require additional time, we recommend booking a double appointment to ensure you receive thorough care.


Allied Health Patients

  • If you have a health care card, concession card or pension card with a current care plan, your services may be bulk-billed by the allied health provider.
  • Please note that some of our allied health providers charge out of pocket for all consultations, regardless of the above.


WorkCover Patients

  • Pending WorkCover claims: Patients with an open WorkCover claim must pay for each consultation until the claim is approved and a WorkCover claim number is provided to our reception team.
  • Approved WorkCover claims: Once approved, WorkCover will be billed directly for your medical consultations.


Accepted Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

✔️ EFTPOS
✔️ Credit Cards (Visa/Mastercard)
