Can't make it in? All of our GPs offer telehealth consultations by phone or video — bulk billed for eligible patients. Available for existing patients of the practice.
Telehealth allows you to consult with your regular GP from the comfort of your home, workplace, or anywhere in Queensland — without needing to travel to the clinic. It is ideal for follow-up appointments, prescription renewals, referral discussions, and managing ongoing conditions.
How telehealth works
Book your appointment
Book a telehealth appointment online via HotDoc or call us on 07 4778 3355. Select 'Telehealth' as your appointment type when booking.
Receive your link or call
For video consultations, you will receive a secure link before your appointment. For phone consultations, your GP will call you at the scheduled time.
Consult with your GP
Speak with your regular GP as you would in person. Your GP can issue referrals, prescriptions, and medical certificates electronically.
Bulk billed — no cost to you
Telehealth consultations are bulk billed for eligible Medicare patients. Bring (or have ready) your Medicare card details.

When you should come in person
Telehealth is not suitable for all situations. You will need to attend the clinic in person for physical examinations, skin checks, procedures, vaccinations, and new patient consultations. If you are unsure whether your concern is suitable for telehealth, call us on 07 4778 3355 and our team will advise you.
Who can access telehealth at our clinic
Telehealth consultations at Health and Wellbeing Wulguru are available to existing patients of the practice. If you are a new patient, we ask that you attend the clinic in person for your first appointment so your GP can properly assess your health needs and establish your care. After your initial visit, telehealth is available for follow-up care.
